Eva Wong is our optometrist. She is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and has over 25 years experience in private practice.

Our optometrists work independently with patient care as their first priority. We allow plenty of time for a thorough ocular health examination as well as time to listen to your needs so that you get the best advice available.
Eva will check for all ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Eva is therapeutically qualified, which means that she can prescribe and write a prescription for ocular medicines. Also, she is expert in children’s vision care having qualified as behavioural optometrist.
Because we allocate adequate time for your examination, you won’t feel rushed so we can get your glasses prescription perfectly suited to your needs.

Optical coherence tomography (O.C.T.)

Optical Coherence Tomography is one of the most powerful diagnostic tools for the detection of ocular diseases. it scans the macular area and allows eye care professionals to see the tissues of the macular and optic disc in great detail. O.C.T. scans allow for the earliest detection of macular degeneration, glaucoma and a range of other ocular diseases.
Scanning is quick, painless and completely safe because the machine simply uses light to develop the scans. There is no harmful radiation.
The charge for scanning as part of a regular eye examination is $50. For a scan at the request of an ophthalmologist the charge is $90.
