We are your local family owned optometry and optical practice. Murray O’Brien is the owner who has been a qualified optical mechanic/dispenser (optician) for over 40 years. He began his apprenticeship at Coles and Garrard in Bourke Street Melbourne and attended the optical school at the R.M.I.T. He also completed a subsequent diploma in Optical Dispensing where he was dux of the class.
We still do lens making and repairs on site and can sometimes make glasses same day depending on stock lens availability.
Eva Wong is our optometrist and studied optometry at the University of Melbourne, completing her degree in 1996. Eva has over 25 years of experience and will take the time to thoroughly examine your eyes internally and externally, checking for all eye diseases and prescribe glasses and contact lenses where necessary.
